About the federation
The Aruba Chess Federation is the governing body for chess in Aruba. We run the national championships, keep the ratings, train arbiters and select the teams that represent Aruba abroad.
Our mission
To promote chess on Aruba: organise national championships and international opens, and give young players a strong start.
The federation sanctions tournaments, publishes the rating list and selects national teams for the Chess Olympiad and youth events.
It is run by an elected council of volunteers. Clubs and schools affiliate to the federation, and players join as members.
Our vision
Aruba as the Caribbean's favourite place to play an open.
